Winter Hours
The Rockwood Winter Series has begun!
Every other Saturday, starting November 7 through March, the DGers are competing in the Rockwood Winter Series. Signups are held at Park Place between 9 - 9:45 a.m. Click here for more information
Park Place Coffee loves Disc Golfers!
In 2007, when Park Place Coffee was preparing to open, the Vance Park 9-hole course was opening too. Now we have two courses within walking distance of the cafe, Vance and Rockwood. Little did we know what a blessing that was!
Disc Golfers have brought many positive elements to Vance Park next door and so many customers to Park Place. Along with all of the friendly faces, we know that disc golfers have made a big difference in keeping the bad elements to a minimum.
It is our mission to keep golfers coming to & enjoying Vance and keeping up the positive activity. If Park Place can do anything to support the disc golfers, please let us know. Please all report any crime or suspicious activities you find in the park to Dina. She is working closely with law enforcement to identify the problems!
Park Place has disc golf supplies and information available.
We have discs for sale. Loaner discs are also available for checkout. Leave some collateral and take the discs you need to try out the game.
We have maps and scorecards (also found here for printing yourself) for the Vance Course.
One of our local golfers, Rick Jones, has some disc golf artwork displayed at the shop.
